1·4 days agoI never got it as a kid, partly because it was a difficult pun for that age. I didn’t know the word tune nor would I later pronounce it like that. The first forms of that word, I ran into, were radio tuner and car tuning, nothing I’d associate with music
emojis add ambiguity themselves. There are plenty of people who don’t understand sweat droplet emojis. There are definitely cultural gaps with 🙏. I think I read there are different ways to use 💀

Some can get a short name after some time. Like
- TenSura: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
- LasDan: Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town
And others have a short name followed by a longer one like
- Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World
- KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!
- Always a Catch!: How I Punched My Way into Marrying a Prince
- Bogus Skill “Fruitmaster”: About that Time I Became Able to Eat Unlimited Numbers of Skill Fruits (That Kill You)
- The Strongest Tank’s Labyrinth Raids: A Tank with a Rare 9999 Resistance Skill Got Kicked from the Hero’s Party

It is the continuation of the former Mozilla Application Suite, based on the same source code, which itself grew out of Netscape Communicator and formed the base of Netscape 6 and Netscape 7.

It probably worked because they had such a great empire and a kingdom wide standard. One of the biggest reasons why other countries got rid of these measurements was ambiguity and trade. At least every country had their own measurements, often differed by member states or even by city. (Although differences by city probably already were gone when metric came around)
