It’s not that they’re using AI to replace designers, that would at least make a little sense. They sold off the shoe designs and manufacturing to a Venture Capitalist company and Allbirds is now purely an AI company, they have nothing to do with shoes anymore.

Whenever GOP “Christians” want to use the bible to justify up their hateful ideology, they always use the books in the Old Testament, like Leviticus to hate gays. Very rarely (if ever) do they use the actual teachings and words of Jesus Christ as they are found in the four Gospels. Pay attention whenever you hear Mike Johnson or some other numbskull talk about the bible, what books are they referencing, if it ain’t the New Testament, it ain’t Christian.
To me, a Christian is someone who follows Jesus’s actual teachings, which this guy in Texas obviously does.

I didn’t say it wasn’t wrong. I just watched that episode last week and it’s definitely heartbreaking but it’s just a SciFi version of the trolley problem, either decision is potentially the wrong one.
I think we need to clarify what is meant by “worst decision”. To me, the worst decision is the one that costs the most lives or one that prolongs their time in the Delta Quadrant, since that also potentially leads to more lives lost.
That was a moral dilemma for her and the crew but was it really her “worst decision”?

More posturing to look like they’re taking charge. I don’t know if any of what I’m about to say is true but if those attorneys already had the accrued PTO, they will get their pay for that time anyway, at least that’s how it’s worked anywhere else I’ve worked in the US. Also, if they can prove that the firing was retaliatory, they may be able to get further compensation and payouts.
Like I said, I know nothing of their employment/contracts so I could be talking out of my ass, but if what I said is true then the government is paying more money than they would be if they just let the prosecutors resign. I could be wrong once benefits are included.
