I am growing quite sick of living in interesting times…


On 9/11 we were told something bad was happening in the US, but no details. The teachers decided there would be no class for the rest of day, instead we’d have in-class recess until school ended. We were not informed about what was actually going on, just told to play.
I got in trouble for having fun while playing, because it was disrespectful.
I think it would depend on whether they’re just stupid or willfully ignorant. Personality counts for a lot imo.


Because American cars get more massive each year.


Maybe the “lawyer” they used hadn’t passed their bar exam yet.
Open body language is a big part of it. Or generally gestures that clearly communicate you’re not upset - smiling, gentle/playful touches.
Also if you are angry but it’s at a situation and not a person, make that clear. E.g. even something as simple as the difference between “this totally sucks!!” and “this totally sucks, doesn’t it?” The second options conveys that you’re experiencing an annoyance together, as opposed to you experiencing an annoyance and you may decide to take it out on them.
