Principal threatened to expel me senior year because I was fidgeting with one of those switchblade-combs because it was a facsimile of a weapon. The only reason I had it was because we used it as a prop in the school play the week before.

She would need to make a genuine apology to my brother and his wife. I gave her the easy apology with myself six years ago under the assumption that she would make an actual effort with everyone else involved. She did not, and instead chose the route of the coward pretending to be victimized and wronged. Until she chooses the path of accountability, I don’t have any intention of speaking with her.
3 is a lot, though not the most egregious. My worst experience was five interviews ranging from HR to the fucking CEO only for them to low ball me at the end of it.
I did not take the job.
My ex used to pull this kind of stupid shit. Staying up late in some kind of masochistic urge to “improve her skills” which was really about feeding her massive fucking ego. It resulted in some serious mental health spirals and poor decisions on her part (hence the “ex”). Getting enough quality sleep will not only improve your mental and emotional resilience, it will help you be more prepared to achieve whatever kind of live goals you have in mind. If you really feel like you have to sacrifice your need for sleep to make time for whatever it is you’re trying to do, then I have to think this is a time management problem. on your part. Getting enough good sleep is non-negotiable.
