The difference is that you block those community because you’re not interested in them. In the case of a frontend, am I supposed to believe everyone who used it was uninterested in those topics, probably not, so why did the developer block them

Small correction tesseract is a front-end for Lemmy not a fork, essentually it’s juste a way to browse Lemmy, it also blocked a trans instance and a Yuri community so the developper is a transphobe and a homophobe
