Yes, we cannot eliminate currency at this stage of the game. But we can have democratic socialism, and universal basic income, and Medicare for all, and still have money, including more money for people who choose to work for it.

What term would you use instead of “funding”? Even if we ditch capitalism, as we should, doctors et al still need to get paid, and hospitals still need money to operate (assuming we got rid of any for-profit healthcare). We wouldn’t be doing this with a barter system, right?

Are you advocating for not treating the sick whatsoever, or are you assuming total governmental funding for treating the sick?

For me, treating my ADHD led to success at life, which led to no longer needing depression medication. When I was tested in Rhode Island I did 2 hours of actual attention/memory/cognition etc. tests and they did a full neuropsych profile. That makes me want to question his plan. That said, I am not a doctor and my advice is anecdotal.

From what I just read I am confident you are AuDHD like me. I am not a doctor. Check out the Auticate YouTube channel or website. Those wonderful people are the ones who first clued me in to the fact that I am autistic, and it was a revelation. Suddenly, all the stuff I thought was just me sucking as a human was explained, and made total sense. AND that it’s totally ok that that’s who I am. I’m rooting for you. I use a foil-style electric. No cuts and no irritation. Do NOT use a rotary-style electric. You don’t want a lift and cut system tugging on your short and curlies. If I use a regular 5 blade manual razor, even if I don’t cut myself, I get irritation and itchiness for days after.
