Drones are a tool of the modern battlefield. A tethered drone does not need to fly autonomously. Of course you can program for autonomy if you have the skills, and the autonomous task for armed resistance is not overly complicated, could be as simple as a straight line path.

Can’t be had for 50 dollars (I didn’t say this), but learning to fly and build drones like that is available to just about anyone, and inexpensively. Moreover drones have non-killing civilian applications - SAR, emergency services, videography - so the skillset can be built without raising concerns or attention.

Ordnance is added later as needed.

I’m not suggesting anything, but I will point out that the 2nd Amendment seems to have done absolutely nothing but cost the lives of hundreds, perhaps thousands, including young children. There are many ways to get a drone to fly autonomously over a short mission. You may want to figure it out considering where your country is headed. Your country is not what you think it is. The good Americans who want to stop it from becoming a fascist imperialist monster have not figured out or accepted what they need to do to get there. It’s too late to talk about what the laws and regulations should be. Laws are irrelevant. The time to affect ideological change has passed, you missed the window. Even if you’re right about the causes, and I believe you and I would agree on that, those discussions are over. In the end, the US empire listed about 250 years. Maybe they stumble along shitting themselves for another 50 years, but this is likely the beginning of the end considering they’ve destroyed any trust with other powers for generations, and done so right at the time when they needed this ethical narrative to constrain China’s dominance. Like many other empires they became arrogant and shit all over everyone else, and eventually the knives come out.

Billionaires should not exist. You don’t get to be a billionaire without exploiting people - for that matter once you get over about 10M you’re probably stepping on people, or exploiting systems, in order to continue growing your wealth. And why, exactly? It’s a sickness that gets worse the richer someone gets. It’s been studied and confirmed that people who have excessive wealth convince themselves that they deserve it, they earned it individually, and that they are special and more valuable than others. So instead of riding off into the sunset, they feed their addiction by buying outsized and unearned power in order to shape the laws so that they can make more money. Just fuck off already - you won at capitalism, now get the fuck out of the way and stop screwing over everyone else and making our lives miserable.

Beyond 100M we should just take it all for the state. 100% tax rate. If you want to keep earning beyond that, then great, you will have the glory of contributing to the public good.

But since billionaires have convinced idiots to advocate against the idiots’ own interest, and argue that the billionaires can’t be constrained in any way, then this will never happen in the current social context. So next best thing is to do as Bill says. Put the fear of God into them.
