  • The “verifiable harm” is the normalising and disseminating sexualised images of minors under the guise of “But it’s just a drawing.”

    Thanks to ol’ muskrat and his recent lobbying to make it legal for his pet clanker to turn real images of underage women into deepfakes, most people are VERY aware that something doesn’t have to have a physical impact to cause harm.

    Just like the creepy anime shit;

    They are depictions of children intentionally drawn that way, for a target market.

    The artist intentionally drew them like that.

    Nobody is forcing the artist to draw pictures of children or characters that look like children, they do it by choice.

    It is not far of a stretch to say that the people drawing that type of thing enjoy it, as do the people consuming it.

    So why are you defending it so vehemently?

    You’ve posted multiple times in this thread arguing with whoever you can find, so I’m curious; what do you think you’re defending?

  • All of the coffee flavoured energy drinks give me the turbo shits, hadn’t had any of them until recently so got a set imported, couldn’t work out what it was until I ran out of the cans and went back to normal (will agree they taste alright, if no a little like cafeteria coffee with UHT milk and plain sugar)

    But I will argue that the European flavours actually taste like real fruits, you don’t get the petrochemical derived colours and flavours aftertaste that they try to mask with acidity in the US versions.

    It’s why gamersupps is king - flavours taste like they’re supposed to, the only sour ones are intentionally so, and they replaced sugar with sucralose, so you dont get that stevia/artificial sweetener taste.

  • I do not believe anyone currently knows how to look inside the factory right now; no journalist, manager, or ceo has the keys.

    You’re more than welcome to keep believing that, but if you do, then you also have to admit that the US and other apartheid governments are using a tool with which they have NO idea what it does or how it works, to track, identify, monitor and either abduct or kill civilians.

    Another point : maths is not some magic handwaving thing, simple addition does not require an “it’s in the ballpark of x, so whittle it down to about the right answer” it has a correct answer, and a correct method of getting to that answer. Both of which a calculator (mechanical or otherwise) has been able to do for centuries.

    What an absolute waste of computational power.
