Times have changed. I first watched Speed Racer AFTER, both Animated Spiderverse movies and Kpop demon hunters.
Speed Racer is amazing (am willing to put it ABOVE Into the Spiderverse.) But since it came out in 2008. The same year as The Dark Knight, and just before the rise of the MCU, audiences went ready for the over the top animation style of over-the-top action comedy.
Release Hoodwinked now, and I’m 98% sure it would be in reviewers top 10 of the year

I remember being in yr11, Classmate comes in and says “have you heard of Pokemon Go?” I didn’t even have a mobile phone at that time (thanks mom/dad/bible) so obviously no.
10 years after highschool, and if my school DID had those 10 year reunion things like the movies, I have nothing to share…
I got a Bluetooth keyboard, a failed kali-mobile-install-thingy on a spade phone, and about 3 months of “eh, I will try again later”
If I get access to a 3d printer, try to make a cool clam shell design, and put in the effort, I might be able to daily drive it.

100% I was (still am) biased. Shaun’s was the only thoughts I had until here. Felt unfair that I hated a game so much I’ve never even played.
Opened Steam to check the price and OH BOY. $109 AUD. Guess the demo will have to be my thoughts for the time being

Shaun has a video essay on Stellar Blade. According to him, its very much “can I copy your homework” of Nier Automata, and some sekiro gameplay.
I have only played the the later 2. Nier Automata is something I will never forget, and (IMO) Sekiro is the best Fromsoft+Combat game. Highly recomend both of them
Rewatched Robert Pattersons The Batman recently. Re-realised that Bruce Wayne could have made a bigger impact to the city instead of Batman.

We have a student here in Outback AUS. Amazing at high jump and long jump. Went to the Big Cities twice to represent his state in athletics. And he only got a chance because the new sport teacher came in and pushed for him to go.
Out last sports teacher wouldn’t have made the effort. And who knows how many other great students walked through our doors, and didn’t get a chance to train/go big because of funds/transport/staff engagement etc.
Are you sure? There’s a whole movie where the meh emoji was the main character… Seeing the parents go though an argument and almost divorce, while they monotone all the time? Peak cinema /s
