That was my first thought, and then someone in this thread did in fact find an earlier post by someone else. Though I don’t know if that was the original.

Vote in the primaries, if there are choices. If you’re in a district with no choices, pick the lesser of two evils, and constantly send emails to let them know you’re paying attention.

And if things get extreme, maybe run for office?
