“…pleaded guilty to causing a nuisance without reasonable excuse”
thats a crime? And what would constitute a reasonable excuse?
hey, can we arrest trump for that if he comes back to the uk?

Home had 4 windows machines a year ago. Now 1 windows machine, a raspberry pi, and 4 linux machines… reckon theres still a real move under the data. Ai may be part but its not all or most.

I agree with you completely on the phones. Ergonomic nightmares on top of all the mtx and game quality issues.
But i think the retro handheld community deserves a bit more consideration than dismissed as museums. They allow portable access to decades of games. Most of which are far more suited to the 20-30 minutes sessions you describe than any games of more recent days. The blast you have on a 3ds? You can build on that. Either by jailbreaking other platforms (PSP?) or get a newly built device of similar size which adds greater convenience (battery life, usb-C, etc) and add the ability to emulate most consoles. Up to say, Ps3 era and you have decades of options in any genre.
Not sure you are going to find any answers if that isnt going to scratch your itch.
Ive personally never had the multiplayer itch i think you ae referring to and havent played a fraction of the games that habe intrigued me over the years.
Whether or not you can find someone based on their phone number is based on a user setting. Each person chooses whether or not they can be found by their phone number.
Go to Settings - Privacy - Phone number.
Really though, this is an excuse more than a roadblock.
I find people oddly resistant to an additional message app, yet they gleefully download a new app at every carpark they visit. People are odd.

Border pigs have cellebrite, assume they can access anything left intact.
If it botherw you, wipe it, if it doesnt, you dont really need a duress pin. But login to one profile and cellebrite can get the rest.

That would be an interesting proposition… under duress load profile x and delete all other profiles, apps, settings and keys.

And thats why you dont travel to countries with ropey regimes

Loading any profile allows the operating system access to root privileges, and opens potential for user privilege escalation.

I have lots of contempt for their business models. Felonious and otherwise. 😂

No airgap = no containment
In all likelihood, this is a BS piece to make people think the models are intelligent.
If its not, then openai are utterly incompetent and reckless.

PC hardware is not vendor controlled. They can’t delete your game because sales of the sequel are low or a license agreement ran out. Buying is owning on a pc where the game can be backed up, reinstalled on new machine etc. without any need for the agreement or permission of the publisher. You bought it. Can’t do any of that on console. Cant back up to your own systems, cant copy and if the console vendor decides to withdraw it from your library and delete from your device, you cant stop them (short of never connecting the device to the internet again) Historically console physical media has had a good second hand market, no such thing without physical media.
You’ll hand your money over, own nothing and have no recourse.
Don’t think that there was ever a security hole. I wouldnt consider installing alt firmware to be a security hole
Per the patch notes: https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/support/hardware/ps3/system-software/
"By updating, you can enjoy additional features, improved usability, and enhanced security.
Please note, to play Blu-ray discs, your PS3 system needs a renewed Blu-ray player encryption key. Please update your PS3 system software to the latest version to renew the Blu-ray player encryption key."
I havent actually tried to watch a bluray on custom firmware since, but I’m a weirdo who uses it for playing games so that doesnt matter to me.
I dont see any money being made on the ps3
This is Sony though, they care so much about playstation customers they even went to the effort of updating the ps3 firmware in March this year to improve things for their customers.
I mean it would be crazy to suggest they would do that for a console they discontinued a decade ago just to try and fuck with people who have the temerity to run custom firmware on hardware they bought and paid for 20 years ago…
Sony business logic is fucked.

So… 250 people charged in connection with epstein files?

You ae not alone.
I get that. I just buy the physical book if kobo dont deal.
I dont think its an “instead of” scenario, you can boycott all the peopoe that wont provide a decent product on reasonable terms at a fair price
So the uk taxman is funding terrorists now. I thought that was supposed to be frowned upon…
