Binary prefixes are stupid and unnecessary. Yes, I know “kilo” means 1000, not 1024, I don’t care because it’s obvious from context. RAM manufacturers know what’s up - I’ve never seen the word “gibibyte” or “GiB” written on a stick of RAM.

To this day I think Luigi’s Mansion 3 might be the game I’ve finished that I enjoyed the least. I loved the first one (and liked the second one well enough, even though it was a bit watered down for the 3DS), just so we’re clear.
The simplified ghost catching mechanics made most of the game’s fights pretty boring, the Gooigi puzzles almost always boiled down to “I need the strength of two vacuums” or “I wish I could fit through this grate”. Also, the last boss was godawful.
Most egregiously, I think LM3 might be the most filler-stuffed game I’ve ever played. The number of times you get an elevator button only for the game to go “Haha, no” really started to piss me off. The second time fucking Poulterkitty showed up, I actually looked up a walkthrough to gauge whether there was little enough of the game left to warrant finishing it - I wanted to stop right then and there. I think Nintendo took the criticism that LM1 was too short to heart. The thing is, without all the padding, LM3 would still have been a perfectly reasonable length (maybe even still too long). With all the padding, it was an utter slog.
Edit: Also, as an inverted aiming enjoyer (there are dozens of us), why the hell can’t you invert?

I agree. I was never a fan of them removing the fantasy elements either - it made the game feel so much more generic than the first (though this might be hindsight since I first played Quake 2 many years after it came out - It’s quite possible Quake 2 is one of the reasons “generic tech base” became so generic).
There’s a sweet spot. Unpopular opinions that get upvoted need to be trivial enough to not make anybody uncomfortable or angry.
Something like “Toilet paper orientation doesn’t matter” is far more likely to be upvoted by somebody who disagrees with it than “Everything bad that happens to your children is your fault because you knew it was a possibility and had them anyway”.
I use Vim, which has some really handy tricks that I use somewhat often (eg, type :r! followed by a terminal command and it will add the standard output of said command to the bottom of your file).
That being said, there’s nothing wrong with Nano. Most distros come with it out of the box nowadays, and its learning curve is practically nonexistent compared to the alternatives.

I could maybe understand if they were starting a business - since they can take a lot of time and effort to get off the ground. Of course that comes with the assumption that eventually they can stop spending so much time.
I’ve started thinking that “workaholism” is just a societally approved method of avoidance. Most self-described workaholics I’ve met are men who seem to dislike their wives and children. Working all the time lets them “provide for the family” while never actually being there for them.
Edit: I feel like I should point out that sometimes people do actually need to work so much to provide for their family - those aren’t the people I’m talking about.

I didn’t buy a Switch 2, but the people who did are Nintendo’s biggest fans, and Nintendo have just told them in no uncertain terms “Haha, get fucked, loser”.
