Presumably because the queer community won’t watch it to avoid funding Rowlings anti-trans groups, and those willing to support such a creator will get mad if there’s anything even slightly gay

I’ve heard H1 and H3 have been decompiled and their modding communities have been popping off. Apparently some H3 64 player games have been run recently, and that’s just the tip of the iceburg. Really makes me want to get back into some crazy halo 3 custom lobbies

Yeah looks like I just internalized something wrong at some point ages ago and have been carrying it around since.

You are overwhelmingly correct. Looks like anyone can apply to host a tedx event as long as they can fund the event, but there’s some kind of vetting program in place

The opposite, even. Tedx Talks, and I think maybe even some Ted Talks in general now, are paid by the presenters to have the platform

Not arguing, but my understanding is the main problem with driver assist systems is that people don’t meaningfully understand their limitations and assume they will do more than they are capable of. Think highway lane assist being treated as a self driving system, for example, or the woman who jumped in front of her tesla her toddler was driving because she thought it would stop if there was a person in front of it.

Since the expectations are so wildly different between vehicles, and none of it is covered in drivers ed or road tests, it’s bound to happen more.

In no particular order, here’s some games I absolutely adore, some of which absolutely have deep flaws.

Undertale

Gotcha Force

Dragon’s Dogma

Kenshi

F-Zero GX

I feel like I’m deeply undercutting some loves, especially story driven games (such as the popular in this thread disco elysium) because I simply haven’t poured dozens of hours of them individually and they don’t spring to mind as easily. Devil May Cry 5, World War Z, Death Road to Canada, Mass Effect (yes, one), there are so many greats, and I want to enjoy them all. But when I think facorites, I end up thinking of games that let me go fast and explore a cool world

It’s my go to for explaining the difference between “difficult” and “punishing.” Levels are rough, but they go fast and restart in an instant.

I believe you mean Romani. Your choice of word is a slur

This did better than Tokon? That makes me pretty sad

He’s kind of a pile, so I’d never support him by watching him, but he’s one of those where every few years I check in on the drama. The man has: Masturbated on stream Gotten a girl in a relationship to travel across the country to fuck him, without abandoning that relationship Got that girl to move in with him, at which point she dropped her old guy Declared bankruptcy, due to spending 5 figures a month on a pay to win mobile game Steadily alienated his viewers to the point that he does more begging for money than playing games. Last I heard, he was down to one whale of a paypig keeping him afloat.

I have definitely had the reverse experience. Ends up meaning certain positions are off limits, have to be gentle and careful with every thrust. It’s not a great experience for either of you.

The heritage foundation has literally been pushing to influence the political leanings of judges since the early 70s, and every single conservative supreme court justice has ties to them. Conservatives and corporations have been working on this for decades

Well yeah, the Powell memo set the conservative strategies for convincing working class individuals that they’re investors and it was in their best interest to support pro-corporate legislation back in the 70s

They’ll keep going until it’s above the price of hardware ownership (a lot, these days), but fed in small enough increments that it’s more affordable to the poor

No one will be at the office, you say! I hope that nothing terrible happens to the building that is solely corporate property and no human life

Surely nothing bad would happen to data centers and AI companies suddenly left without security guards

I’m sure Minnesotans will be ready to show ICE agents how welcome they are at poling places. Are you?

With you 100% I think millennials have been taught our whole lives that those at the top will take anything we don’t nail down. We’ll keep nailing things down, continuing with the expectation that the world will continue not to be made for us

I won’t give up until I’m in the ground, but some weeks it’s easier to keep hope in my heart than others. Thanks for spreading the good word
