2·4 days agoThey’re telling you that they don’t think there’s enough community support for your opinion to matter. May still be worth writing something but it sounds like they’re planning to throw it straight in the trash. I’d consider other options.
It’s horrible obviously, but also yeah, what’s the plan there?

The worst part is that he’s just a few steps away from having a process.
You’ve started an experiment and set up a test but just zero follow through or data recorded.
For me, the deciding point comes from what color they made the merchandise. You’ll find a rare item in green, but 90% of the items out there are in yellow.
To me, that’s a decision to make yellow canon.

I might be a bit too socialist, but I think that’s the ideal. We should strive to elevate the worst off among us and that should be a cornerstone of modern society.
Kind of feel like we’re failing until we get to the point where we can’t tell who the bottom 10% is. It’s almost the same concept as “No One is Free until we are all Free”.
I do feel really apprehensive about Bandit standing in for the change my mind guy.
I even looked at the territories Russia separates itself into for governance, and it maybe matches a bit?
I feel like we’re heading towards a world where we’re just going to have to accept that whoever made this image just randomly took a sharpie to the map.
9·9 days agoTheir roll-out schedule for games is definitely unexpected, not making the new Pokemon a switch 2 exclusive was specifically a real weird move for Nintendo. Even if it wasn’t a mainline game, that’s usually their ‘sell that new console’ line.
Definitely grateful, but I really wonder why Nintendo isn’t pushing Switch 2 games more.
My first guess was that the middle area is vaguely close to the shape of greenland.

Most advice is a pretty generic reminder to listen to your partner and treat them like a person. That’s something you know is a good idea as a concept pretty early on in life, but it’s just real easy to get complacent.
It’s not huge, but a bigger step than it feels like. I think some of us don’t realize how bad it’s gotten.

This is a bit out of date too but it affects a larger share than you’d expect.
3·9 days agoI would say clear coat it, but if you’re doing that, you might as well paint it and I know that may be more than you want to get into.
My process is covering with a light coat of plastruct, sand it (around 800 grit usually gets it done), prime it, then clear coat and it usually looks better than new. Clear coat alone will go a long way.

Lemmy leans heavy on Tech and light on Creative and other areas.
If we think about it, I’d bet there would be a correlation though… Being immortal has to disconnect you from the rest of society.
Dark triad traits have got to be off the charts on Immortal beings.

As far as I can tell the originating controversy with Bob Martin was in relation to some tweets Bob made regarding immigration and the process for separating children/parents.
Probably quite a bit more expensive and this sounds like it’s focused almost entirely on sprinkler control but I wonder what it would look like to implement a more complex automated system like Farmbot at this level.
