It’s only faster if you write faster with it. It takes me longer to write in cursive, it did even back in middle school when I was forced to only use it instead of printing, and it still ends up far less legible. Also school should not be taught in a way where success is dependent on writing down facts as fast as you possibly can, that’s not actual teaching. But that’s a different issue, lol.
Nice! Yeah if you work at a desk and take a lot of calls, I’m sure that’s true. If I take time out of my work day to write down notes, I’m already behind. Thankfully it’s not part of the job.

Remember: anyone can write at 100 words a minute if it’s completely unintelligible.
