There have been studies done that suggested money can buy happiness but only to a certain extent. I think the cap was somewhere north of the upper middle class. Enough money where you didn’t ever really have to worry about bills or ever going broke, while also being able to travel and vacation several times a year.

Past that point increasing the amount of money didn’t increase the overall happiness of the person.
