    Wow, just goes to show that what’s a Boring Local Bird to you can be a Gorgeous Creature I Never See to me.

    And such a nice clear picture, too. I had an Allen’s hummingbird get right up in my face this morning but I still didn’t manage an in-focus picture.

      Whereas all hummingbirds are completely foreign to me - I’ve seen a few in aviary’s and that’s it :)
