My personal experience uploading decently popular satire on multiple platforms is that, when comparing the reactions I get on various social media, Lemmy has the undisputed worst reactions on two topics: sexism and racism.
Anything satirizing sexist issues will get accused of being a psyop, bot content, trying to create dissent, misandry, etc. with some users convinced that there’s an ongoing campaign to “push” a narrative about men on the platform.
Which is interesting given that Lemmy users love to circlejerk about being more progressive than the rest of the Internet.
