Vote or don’t, but always remember that real change can only come from outside the system.


It’s entirely situational. Some people are in locations where voting would have no meaningful affect because it’s so partisan.
Time and energy could be better spent elsewhere in those cases.
I dunno what it’s like where you are, but voting in Canadian elections usually takes 15-45 minutes (for the 80% of Canadians in urban areas). I’m hard pressed to think of something you could with 45 minutes/year that would have a greater effect.
