Sweet potato pie and pumpkin pie are pretty similar
But the pumpkin must have ordered it for her to be bringing it to him, why would she need to lie about what it is?
Might have been a special, just listed as “Pie of the Day” or something like that. Now should Jack have asked what the pie was first instead of going for “surprise me?” Perhaps. But I’ve never been to a diner where “Shepard’s pie, made with real shepards” was a possibility, so who am I to judge?
