We still got put into “gifted programs”, excelled there, got terrible grades because school was boring, now we are just folks. Many of us are lynchpins at our jobs, because we still excel at finding patterns and we’re still fundamentally lazy so we tend to be really efficient, often improving processes for our own convenience if allowed any kind of autonomy.
