    It took trialling a number of antidepressants, magnets, electric shocks, and ketamine before I could do that with any degree of consistency.

        Haha, I did something called transcranial magnetic stimulation. Basically magnets on the brain to induce electric current in targeted areas, something like that. It’s noninvasive and helpful for some people with depression, but it didn’t work for me at all.

      So what finally worked for you?, there’s a ketamine clinic near me and I’m wondering if I should give it a go, it’s probably not covered by my insurance though

        Esketamine and ECT both helped, but ECT wasn’t as durable a treatment for me. I’d definitely recommend trying the esketamine first, because even though I threw up every session ECT made my already bad memory worse. It’s a good option if you need help and nothing else has worked though.

        To be clear though, still depressed. Just, not looking to off myself anymore.
