We need to go back to the days where video games come to an end. All this live service forever game bullshit is a cancer for the industry, and just incentivizes overt monetization
Ironically live service games are the only ones guaranteed to end.
Most other games can be played just fine long after the majority of players have moved on.
i hate this statement, there are currently 543,275,322,871 games. i think fortnite is the only live service game i plau. (recent games i have ever played )
alan wake 2
baldurs gate 3
cyberpunk
doom dark ages
(i am not going to go on and on, but thosenwere some very popular games.)
Uhhh… What?
He’s addicted to fortnight and is trying to argue there’s plenty of other games, he’s even played some. Unfortunately too much fortnight has left him unable to form proper thoughts and structure sentences.
Listen guys fortnight may be fun but we’ve hit the point in capitalism where we all need to hold hands and shit on publishers who are making these cash grab games. They all need to fail so there’s less big money in the industry and we stop seeing them do this layoff shit and good devs can get back to making games instead of making Darth Vader dance with OJ Simpson.
How did you get that? I love single player games. They ate my bread and butter, starting with the 2600. Saying we need to get back to games with and ending is retarded. We have them, they never left
