A person was shot by a federal law enforcement officer in Minneapolis on Wednesday evening after resisting arrest and “violently assaulting” an officer, the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement, as the city is still reeling in the aftermath of last week’s fatal shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent.
The acceptable alternative to a dead Nazi is leaving the last one just barely alive but still beaten to a pulp, so thry can spread the word to their ilk.

Well generally you don’t kill all the Nazis in one fell swoop, sadly. So “the last” generally refers to the last person within the grouping you were exterminating at any given moment where the statement is applicable.
