The amount of comments on the insta video that seem to blame the victim are disgusting. It seems a good few Americans are disillusioned about it means to be human. Fuck ice. Fuck those who argue that this is not plain and simple murder.
I question how many of those people are:
- Bots.
- White people.
- Cops or other LEO.
Some people just refuse to watch the video. They lived most of their life in a time when there wasn’t video of bad cops and now if you tell them the story of a bad cop they deny it. And then you tell them, hey, don’t believe me. I have the video on my phone. It’ll take a minute. Let’s watch it together. And then they change the topic.
They know that they’re probably in the wrong, but as long as they remain ignorant, they can pretend that their instincts are true. And you can never reach people like this. They have to decide that they care about the truth more than their own ego.
