Oh… Entering puberty is a good indicator for being marriage material… So it’s literally the same root in both Islam and Christianity/Judaism. Puberty makes you ready for marriage to a man. 11-12yo girls are perfectly fine. Some Christian denomination still practice it that old-school way as of today… And first thing some Jews think of, when a boy gets born, is cater to the infant’s penis…
