I feel like Slackware needs to be higher up the mountain than Debian.

Trisquel and Dragora should be in Fredonia since they run on all free software by default.

I’d swap Arch and Gentoo - I think Gentoo should be on the precarious peak and Arch at a more accessible altitude.

Manjaro is supposedly named after Mount Kilimanjaro and being arch-based, it would be appropriate to have it up on the mountain near Arch but lower.

Perhaps a $path going up the mountain range could be added.

The $path could be called “The Way” so you could put Arch BTW.

Okay, first I thought this is trash, but the more you explore the better it gets. Here, take a Lemmy award: 🏅

Can we maybe have Void Linux as like, an entrance to a foreboding cave of some kind?

I’m… trying to figure out if you could make the ‘topology’ here work with non system d variants of linux, but I can’t figure out how.

This reminds me of my “Linux island” city in Cities Skylines! I can get screenshots later, but basically there’s the main island of the Linux distros/districts, where the outer parts are more noob friendly and the inner parts are more “advanced”, with the nearby, considerably more crowded and poorer Android island consisting of various Android ROMs.
