I have a thought experiment I drop on people to explain why billionaires are bad people. I make them tell me what they’d spend a million dollars on in a day if it were given today. Then again. Then again. Then again. Until they run out of meaningful things to spend it on. A billionaire could do that (assuming no income) for almost three years before running out. And a billionaire is a person who thinks that’s not enough money.
Someone with hundreds of billions to trillions in assets could spend a hundred million dollars a day for a loooooooooooooooooooong time without running out.
So that 276? Looks impressive to poor schmucks like you and me, but to him? It means nothing.
And of course this is just pocket change for him.
