Your comment answered my question. Which was how often hasn’t been updated. August 2025 was fairly recent but I’m betting a number of articles are out of date at this point in time. For general reference an offline copy is good and it helps to keep an archive. But I wouldn’t use it on the regular for standard references.
Yeah that’s one thing that is always been a skill is you got to make sure you search things correctly. Not saying that you didn’t necessarily search correctly, however searching for China anti-satellite is not the same thing as China destroys satellite. You have different keywords different things that it references. It’s one of the biggest things as an IT guy that you learn. Is how to properly format searches in order to locate the exact information that you need. And just as an FYI I also searched it through duck duck go just on mobile rather than on a desktop.

I don’t know I think it’d take you the same amount of time to Google it as it would take for me to. I just seem to recall a news article I read sometime in the last 6 months where they stated that China has successfully test launched a rocket and destroyed a satellite in orbit.
I don’t know I disagree with the specific jobs that require specific skills. I mean hell I’ve seen fast food workers that have been doing it for years get annoyed at people that come in and can’t do what they consider basic.

I don’t think it’s just programming I think it’s most jobs in general. It’s just very evident cuz programming and IT and and overall is very in focus now. Most people that have been in a job for any length of time tend to have short tempers because " it’s easy to get this job. Cuz they don’t remember how hard it was for them in the beginning. They expect everybody to come in. Not only that but most of those people coming in are getting paid close to the same if not sometimes more than the person training them. So you tend to give up after a while.

Honestly, not just the niche hobbies. We have no real community here that the masses can enjoy. I can’t give a good nfl instance, NBA instance, etc. Most of the shit presented to me is autistic blah. While it’s entertaining for a minute it’s not something that I need to see all the time, and it’s the biggest amount of posts I see.
