We certainly could get rid of the servile elements of this and just have a “team”.
One partner can be stay at home (it doesn’t even have to be the same partner every day) to handle admin and support while the other does some kind of labour.

Think about how much airtime national news outlets have been giving to El Sayed being friends with Hasan Piker, vs those dumb placards that Nepo baby running against Mamdani had (i forget the name).
Probably tens of millions of dollars in just anchor-person salary spent on talking nonsense on El Sayed and his ethnicity, vs making a poster with skin and beard darkening (of Zohran).
Honestly i thought they’d just be waiting, sharpening their knives so they could just tie up everything he tried to do as Mayor and then use him as an example of the failures of socialism.
But yeah all quiet on that front so far.
I get it, but i honestly think that a big reason the establishment didn’t come at him harder was that he wasn’t a threat to most establishment careers.
If he’d have been US-born, i think they’d have put more effort into coming for his reputation.
The only way to fix this is to have us upload our IDs online constantly, perhaps to prove we are adults.
