12·29 days agoBeing in the industry, I don’t think they are. Forums attract chronically online and miserable people who are not there for beginners but for their own motives.

2·1 month agoIt’s so cute seeing Americans facing a wannabe dictator for the first time. Meritocracy never works in systems like the one Trump is building. It’ll take time, but they’ll get to the point where everyone in the system (including judges) will be working for the system. I don’t think people realize how small the window of opportunity to stop this is. It’s been done so many times by so many people - the only interesting thing about all what’s happening is that it’s happening in the US.
This is one of the reasons why I don’t host other people’s data. I’d consider this option if there was another technical person among users with whom I could share workload and risks like a sudden death.
