Depends. This might be weird but I like a few soggy McDonald’s fries in the bunch of crispy ones. I suppose I can extend that to shoe string fries. But whatever unhealthy capitalist magic McDonald’s do to their fries I just dig it.
Trying out piefed.zip.
This could be my main.
I am also @[email protected] on piefed.social, @[email protected] on lemmy.zip, @[email protected] on lemmy.world, @[email protected] on fedia.io, and @[email protected] on kbin.earth

That makes sense to me. permitted hunting to cull invasive animals in many places of the world is still going. I don’t see a problem with extending that to bug game hunting in Africa the way you described it. Like it or not humanity have changed ecosystems plenty of times in various scope and scale

I hope it doesn’t go away. I’m mid 30s now and I want to still laugh at Uranus jokes and other silly jokes.

same here. I still prefer dark mode, provided it is designed with it in mind from the get go.

as a dark mode enjoyer, as I grow older I found that I prefer not pure black for the background, and not pure white for the text. sometimes google did well in the case of material UI guideline in the beginning. they set that the background is almost black gray and the text some kind of offwhite IIRC. Back then I disliked it but now I understand the decision.
if a website or app is designed with dark mode in the first place I found that it is a lot more calming to me to look at it a long time. although for eink and similar technology displays, I still prefer traditional black text In white.

You had me with the first half, ngl

I guess we have to make that post their top post now

I’m not too surprised really. modding old games and the mod pack takes literal decades to finish. for example red alert 2, tiberium sun, CNC generals (and zero hour) just for the ones that interest me.
bugs exists. modders fix bugs. especially so for games that are still getting updates, even one as scarcely updated as Terraria. I recall some long time ago the Terraria devs said the game is “finished” and then later on some big anniversary year they released a surprise update. my memory is faulty so don’t quote me

oh hey, I just installed swiff last night, and another well timed (at least as far as I encounter it) Bryant article about it. 🤩

Yeah that’s weird. Quite a few of the smaller refurb shops here (south East Asia) just pirate Windows and Office suite.

I mean they have to explain it somehow.
Everything is psy-ops

Another app that allows tagging users is Interstellar. The neat thing with Interstellar is it has built in comments consolidation with posts that are cross-posted or are link posts with the same link. Pretty neat because even on a piefed based instance consolidation doesn’t work if you’re not using the web UI.

Dunno how I did it long ago before I sold my soul to corporate music streaming (and now stopped paying) but I decided to go with /Music/Artist/[Year Of] Album/## Song
Haven’t figured out playlist yet. Then I make sure the tags are correct such as for genres and other stuff

I sometimes wonder what TB would become if the cancer didn’t kill him. I keep wishing he would turned out decent, but the stress of him dealing with cancer starting to show some cracks. I understand, cancer sucks major ass though.

I’m disappointed that my fascination for sword staves came from his video, and he turned out to be a bigoted pro AI chud that is jealous of his own brother because his brother is reaping the hard work he put up as an artist

Others have covered various points with better words than I can, so I’m going to share a website that is covering mobile phone games releases. not affiliated in any way
Is was developed and maintained by a youtuber covering mobile games. Although he haven’t uploaded to youtube in a year. And I don’t usually check the site so it could be outdated.
And I see mobile ports of pc games are taking more care in translating physical controls to touch screen controls. Still not the rule and definitely the exception, but it is out there. Latest one I remember off the top of my head is balatro and ballxpit.

It’s already happening. Check out gamenative and winlator. Russ also have covered this various times
And with Valve releasing the Steam Frame and their Lepton and FEX compatibility tools, I hope it’s going to supercharge adoption

I want to promote [email protected] and [email protected] because they need help with just being alive lol
I’ve thought of stealing some content from the sbcgaming sub and transpose it here with some of my thoughts but I don’t have any of the boutique consoles so I don’t think I can last
Have thought about doing something similar too in a few other comms that exists here in the threadiverse but far eclipsed by their counterpart in reddit. But I’m too lazy
Forgot to add that I don’t want to deal with building a community 😅
Yeah I’m part of the chicken and egg problem we have here but that’s just super hard work for me
It will help one build their immunity, it’s fine. /s
