even if we are obnoxious idiots (which is justified when the whole world thinks killing animals is ok, it’s infuriating), shouldn’t you care about the animals and not us?

what am i supposed to do, take him out myself???

i feel you, i still have all my old photos from 2020 and before on google photos. the google takeout function didn’t even work for me, nearly half my photos were missing, so i have to manually download them i suppose. i get anxious still having so much stuff on there, but it’s so hard to migrate off especially after using it for a decade!
this, i’ve seen “aqua” instead of water on pretty much every hygiene product i own
they’ll raise prices no matter what you do. in fact, having worked at walmart before, the pickup department generates more waste and shrinkage than people stealing.

never too late to use another service to back up your photos! ente is a good alternative, i personally use proton drive (it’s kind of a crappy interface and not nearly as good as google, but it works). if you’re at all curious about self hosting, immich is basically a 1:1 google photos replacement.

i’m glad i never joined a gym when i was thinking about it around a year ago. it’s literally cheaper to save up to buy your own equipment (you don’t need the big stuff, but even then you can get it secondhand or something). i don’t work out anymore but when i did, i used body weight exercises (push ups, pull ups, etc.).

before transitioning i literally never knew my pants size because it was different for every brand. now that i shop in the men’s section post transition, i can now buy pants without needing to worry if they’ll fit. it’s the same measurement every single time no matter what brand. men’s sizes for pants work like 30x35, with the first number being the waist and the second being the length. plus, pockets! we seriously need better women’s clothes.

what an insane thing to say. the job market in the usa is genuinely hell. people with degrees, experience, and skills still do not get jobs even after trying for sometimes years.

this is a great point. i always feel like i want to give up, but i feel like its literally just because im expected to be a corporate robot. despite having many issues of my own, i still really want to stick around. i love the world, i love nature, i dont want to stop experiencing it, but every day i go to work i lose all hope and its so hard to keep going.
protests never seem to work. contacting my representatives doesn’t seem to work either. i don’t think peace is the way to get change anymore unfortunately, but it’s a big ask to want someone to take a violent action that will most likely lead to jail time.
