There is exactly one way to loose weight and it is to count calories. Sports, a balanced diet, interval fasting, all that is generally good for your health. But too much goes in, too much stays in

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do I keep getting downvotes from a post I deleted several days ago?English
36·3 days agoWell, if your posts reach other Lemmy instances, those don’t need to delete them just because you ask them to…
Yes, but that isn’t about investing in businesses, that is about allowing these businesses to buy up land and overcharge for rent. You could very easily solve this by regulation (e.g. capping rents and prohibiting property speculation)
Completely fine by me. They need money for their endeavour, I give them money and expect something in return. I see nothing inherently wrong or unfair with that.

3·9 days agoMy parents always gave me cooking pots. Small to medium sized ones with two handles are easy to grab and easy to clean. If you need to “use” it repeatedly, you can just put boiling water in it in between uses

4·15 days agoWhile I agree with you, it’s not like GNOME consumes so many ressources that it affects the average person’s experience.
Personally, I think GNOME is much more self explanatory. Whatever environment you come from, even if you have no computing experience at all, you will probably get stuff done with GNOME.
With Plasma, I noticed that people with low tech-skills struggle a lot more, because they are less crazy about making everything super duper extra obvious (especially how to configure stuff)

Spoiler: You are absolutely still able to :P
