I personally am a federalist so I don’t care much about EU overreach, all the opposite, but this is what the article criticises.
But re-arming ourselves costs money?
And we have to share the bill, because from a sovereignty aspect, we can’t defend ourselves alone.
I think the question is, how to split the bill fairly. Per citizen? But some countries are better off than others. Is it then fair to raise the bill to a level where it damages some countries’ healthcare, social care, schools, care for the elderly?
