Theory of personal perception
Reality tunnel is a theory that, with a subconscious set of mental filters formed from beliefs and experiences, every individual interprets the same world differently, hence “Truth is in the eye of the beholder”. It is similar to the idea of representative realism, and was coined by Timothy Leary. It was further expanded on by Robert Anton Wilson, who wrote about the idea extensively in his 1983 book Prometheus Rising.

If it does not feel like an objective truth to you, you are probably in need of therapy.

If you consider this an ad hominem, you are definitely in need of therapy. This is not about calling you a bad person, but about you lacking the empathy to understand other people have the same right to live a free and happy life as you do. Because that’s what the categorical imperative is about. Treat others the way you would expect them to treat you.

Being someone obsessed with truth it is very saddening that its almost impossible to get to as a conscious being. I think this is why repeatability and peer review are so important to the scientific method.
