    It’s already too late for Korea, they’ve reached the point where their population is going to collapse. It’s very likely that the country will not exist in its current form a hundred years from now.

      Maybe sooner. At this rate it would take something like every adult woman to have five kids, and each of those five kids would also need to have five kids.

      We haven’t seen actual population collapse in a developed nation in our lifetime, the world will be watching closely. Maybe it will be the spark that some countries will need to realize how dangerous it is to ignore social trends and right-wing influence along with unrestricted capitalism making success more important than community and connection.

        And if they’d do that, they’d get another boomer generation issue a few decades down the line. When it comes to demographics, there isn’t a good solution when you need a quick fix.

        The only real solution for them likely lies into allowing immigration, and a lot of it

          Yup, which for a country like South Korea is probably less likely than reformation with North Korea honestly, and that’s also pretty damn remote.
